The tourism industry is a key sector for the development of the Cambodian economy. With the implementation of the Royal Government’s Rectangular Strategy and under the clear guidance of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister, Cambodia has seen continuous and rapid development in her tourism industry, while the number of tourists has been lifted to new heights.
In order to sustain this growth and facilitate further development, the Ministry of Tourism has developed this website designed specifically for the tourism industry sector. This portal is intended to encourage more interaction via a direct link between the Royal Government and the private sector. It promotes democracy, transparency of administrative proceedings and provides information to the tourism industry sector, with the clear goal to better share ideas and to improve collaboration between the public and the private sector.
First, this website provides access to legal texts, update statistics, official documents and relevant information to the tourism industry sector.
Importantly, a computer software has been created in order to facilitate the private tourism sector in seeking licenses. License application forms can from now on be downloaded or be completed online.
Finally, an online forum also provides visitors an opportunity to share experiences, to give suggestions and to ask questions to our Tourism Industry Department.
I strongly believe that this website will become an essential tool in providing the tourism industry sector with better access to information and improving communication between private sector and the Ministry of Tourism.

Siem Reap, 1stAugust 2011 - The 5 star hotel Angkor Palace Resort & Spa in Siem Reap became officially known as the Grand Soluxe Angkor Palace Resort & Spa following a partnership with the Soluxe Hospitality Group, a Singapore-based international hotel chain owned by the China National Petroleum Corporation.
A joyous ceremony, presided over by H.E. Dr. Cham Prasith, Senior Minister and Minister of Commerce of the Kingdom of Cambodia was held at the resort’s premises to officiate the event that was graced by senior officials from China as well as government officials from the Kingdom of Cambodia.
